Showcase your full startup journey in four sections

Your StartupPage profile goes beyond basic info. Four dedicated sections β€” My Startups, Experience, Investments, and Education β€” help founders, investors, and talent quickly understand your background, expertise, and track record.

Complete them after your basic profile setup to unlock the full platform value: publishing opportunities, appearing on leaderboards, and connecting with the right people.

Accessing Your Sections

All sections live in your Dashboard:

Each section has an edit mode with add, edit, and delete options. All changes appear in real time on your public profile.

πŸ’‘ Use these sections to build credibility: founders highlight ventures, investors show their portfolio, professionals display their career path, and everyone can showcase their education.

πŸš€ My Startups

Showcase startups you've founded, co-founded, or work at.

How to add:

  1. Go to My Startups

  2. Click Create New or Link Startup

  3. Fill in name, description, role, status, and metrics

  4. Connect Stripe for revenue verification via the Verify section

What you can set for each startup:

Field Examples

Role

Founder, Co-Founder, Early Employee

Status

Active, Exited, Failed, Zombie

Dates

Start date, end date (optional)

Metrics

MRR, Total Revenue, Users, Net Margin

Each startup gets a unique public URL (e.g. startupa.ge/startups/yourstartup) shareable across your networks.

πŸ’‘ This section powers Opportunities β€” some opportunity types require a linked startup. Add multiple startups if you're a serial founder.

πŸ’Ό Experience

Document your professional history to attract co-founders, investors, and roles.

How to add:

  1. Go to Experience

  2. Click + Add Experience

  3. Fill in company, role, dates, and achievements

Tips for a strong experience section:

  • Include concrete metrics: "Grew MRR from $0 to $10k", "Led 5-person engineering team"

  • Order chronologically, most recent first

  • Highlight results over responsibilities

πŸ’‘ Great for talent seeking startup roles or founders proving execution skills to investors.

πŸ’° Investments

Highlight your angel investing or VC track record to build founder trust.

How to add:

  1. Go to Investments

  2. Click + Add Investment

  3. Fill in startup name, amount/range, stage, and date

Optional details:

  • Outcomes (e.g. "Acquired", "Raised Series A")

  • Co-investors

  • Visibility toggles if you prefer to keep some investments private

πŸ’‘ Investors use this to signal active deal flow. Founders use it to spot potential backers. Investment data is self-reported β€” no verification needed.

πŸŽ“ Education

Showcase your academic background and relevant credentials.

How to add:

  1. Go to Education

  2. Click + Add Education

  3. Fill in institution, degree, field of study, and dates

Examples:

Institution Degree Field

MIT

B.Sc.

Computer Science

Stanford GSB

MBA

Business Administration

Y Combinator

Batch S24

Startup Accelerator

πŸ’‘ Don't limit this to traditional degrees. Accelerators, bootcamps, and notable programs add credibility too.
