What is the Events section? (Coming Soon)

The Events section is your hub for discovering upcoming startup and tech events in one place.

It helps founders, investors, and operators decide which events to attend to grow their network and stay close to the ecosystem.

You will be able to browse a curated list of conferences, meetups, demo days, and summits, instead of checking dozens of separate websites.

Browsing Startup Events

From the Events page you can explore all scheduled events with smart filters.

Typical filters include:

• Location (city, country, online)

• Date and time

• Type of event (conference, meetup, hackathon, etc.)[1]

Each event page shows the basic details (name, place, dates, description, and external link for tickets or info), so you can quickly decide if it is relevant for you.[2]

Marking Yourself as Attending

Events are fully integrated with your Startupage profile.

• From your profile, you will be able to select the events you plan to attend.

• Your profile will show a list of “Upcoming events I’m attending”, visible to your network.

• On each event page, other users will see that you are going, together with your role (founder, investor, operator) and startup.

This makes it easy for your existing contacts and new people to know where they can meet you in person.

Seeing Who Else is Going

Every event has its own attendees view that surfaces the startup ecosystem around it.

You will be able to:

• See how many people from Startupage are going.

• Browse who is attending (founders, investors, talent) with direct links to their profiles.

• Discover interesting profiles (for example, a specific founder or investor) and reach out before the event to schedule a quick chat.

Knowing in advance who will be there helps you plan meetings, avoid random networking, and make every event much more productive.
